The Lolly Witch of Mumuland

A co-production between the Mangere Arts Centre – Ngā Tohu O Uenuku and Auckland Theatre Company, The Lolly Witch of Mumuland wowed audiences with its raw energy, vivid colours and wonderful performances. The production iks a colourful adaptation of the classic Grimm Brothers folktale Hansel and Gretel.

From the Open Auditions held at MAC in January 2015 to the 14-date season in April, the return to Mumuland saw 10 weeks of community engagement with a cast of 33 including a core cast of 8, a 4-piece band , DJ and a chorus of 20.
